What you will learn in this free guitar lesson

In this lesson, you’ll just play one note: the g. This is the open third string on your guitar: so you only have to hit the strings with your right hand, assuming you’re not a “lefty”.

For your orientation: the first string on your guitar is the highest sounding e-string; this is the string nearest to the floor when you have your guitar on your lap, with the neck to the left.
